Original painting by Atlanta artist Stenvik Mostrom.
Mixed media. 12″ × 12″ × 1″ on custom cradled board, ready to hang.
The faded appearance is the result of a unique textured top-coat on the painting that gives it an old, weathered look. Please see the detail picture for a better look at the surface texture. This piece is quite dark, but incredibly striking in person and difficult to photograph.
This is the painting that was used as the cover art for “Lives Like Mine”, the second solo album from recording artist Mike Hale. Released on Suburban Home Records, “Lives Like Mine” is Mike’s second release since his departure from No Idea Records favorite, Gunmoll.
Stenvik Mostrom is a graduate of the Ringling School of Art & Design, an accomplished musician, and has possibly the most epic name in the history of American art. His work has been featured on multiple album covers, and in galleries across the United States.
Stenvik currently works as a tattoo artist in Atlanta. His life is a quest to solve the riddle of steel. He is the taller half of the White Dove Frisbee Team.
